Octaplus Networks Limited (“Octaplus”, “we” “us”, and “ours”) is an internet service provider. We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 13985026 and our registered office and main trading address is at Kemp House, 152 – 160 City Road, London, United
Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.

We are regulated in the UK by Ofcom. At Octaplus, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Octaplus and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Octaplus. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

 5. Log Files

Octaplus follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

6. Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Octaplus, which are sent directly to users’ browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that Octaplus has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

13. THIRD PARTY ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

We don’t share your data with third-parties in a way as to reveal any of your personal information like email, name, etc. The only exceptions to that rule are for partners we have to share limited data with in order to provide the services you expect from us. Please see below:

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Octaplus does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data that is not related to providing a service you have requested (for example, for marketing purposes). However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent.

However, if we feel that your request is unfounded, repetitive or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or we may let you know that we are refusing to comply with your request. If we refuse your request, we will explain why and you will be entitled to raise the issue with the ICO (www.ico.org.uk).

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data or to exercise any of your other rights. This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days of receipt and, if possible, achieve a satisfactory resolution within that time period. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

16. SECURITY MEASURES

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personal identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.
